So I was the first to review the Zizzle Zounds on Amazon — I just found the product one day at a store [it had just been released like a month before] and then bought a second copy online. This was years ago in 2006!

Anyway, I was already obsessed with touchtables and fiducial readers and interactables obviously, but this thing was AMAZING for the time, features, design, and price of $30 [now they’re going for $200-300]. It’s still amazing, but it was mind-blowing at the time.

Someone on Adafruit found the official FCC submission. I knew it used RFID, but it’s great to see the details.

Why don’t I see this used more often? I would use this all day, every day
