A VR 3D scavenger hunt like an I Spy game book:
- Player has a list of items to find.
- Player explores a 3D sphere of 3D items.
- Player turns head and body around to see the entire world of objects — can look all around and bend down, etc.
- Player must reach out and grab/touch the 3D objects when found.
- Timed.
- Points awarded for most found and/or best time.
- Could require some interaction with certain objects, such as opening a chest to reveal the actual target item.
- Randomly generate location of objects and list of target objects at start of level for replay.
- Needs to look fun, unified and cohesive in order to be challenging.
- Include some animated objects for extra polish.
- Possibly allow player to move in 3D space, as in move through a room rather than simply rotating.
